VMware is a powerful software that provide you an virtualization enviroment, Usually VMware used for education purpose, so you can try many OS or try some tutorial on the internet without worrying your data or install your computer physically. Now in this session I will tell you how to configure bridged network on VMware
Okay now I assume, you have already installed VMware and have virtual machine with OS server already on your VMware.
GOALS
You have 3 interface that have bridged configured already on your virtual machine. The configuration is
Virtual Machine Interface

LAN Adapter

This configuration will allow you to connect the internet through tathering or with LAN cable connection with your virtual machine.
1. Configure VMnet
In VMware there are virtual network editor that provide you to bridge any physical network device to virtual network device.
Click Edit à Click Virtual Network Editor
Then you will see option similar like this, but if it's configured already use remove network button to remove the configuration, so you can learn from the beginning
Click Add Network à select VMnet0 à Click OK
Repeat this step until you have 3 VMnet. then your virtual network editor will be similar like this
After that follow this step
Click VMnet0 à Click Bridged (connect VMs directly to the external network) à select bridge to : (your wireless device)
Click VMnet1 à Click Bridged (connect VMs directly to the external network) à select bridge to : (your LAN device)
Click VMnet2 à Click Host-only (connect VMs internally in a private network) à erase the tick mark on use local DHCP service to distribute IP address to VMs
Click OK
The configuration will be like this
Okay now you have VMnet configured already.
2. Configure Virtual Machine’s Interface
Okay, after configuring VMnet you have to connect the VMnet to your virtual machine’s interface. Okay here we go
Right Click virtual machineà Click Settingsà Click add à Click network adapter à Click Next à Click Custom àSelect VMnet0 (your configured VMnet)
Repeat step above for VMnet 1 and VMnet2, so you have 3 NIC on your virtual machine that have bridge configured already
After that turn on your virtual machine, connect the internet with tathering connection and test your configuration with ping command. Now you can update your OS with tathering or LAN connection
